Transport and location

• We have on-site parking and there is other free parking close by
• Our parking is straight outside the entrance door, assistance is offered
• One of our rooms is located on the first floor and the other two are located on the second floor
• Ashby de la Zouch is on bus routes to other towns and cities, please call if information is required
• We are central to Tamworth, Burton and Derby train stations. These stations are around 30 minutes taxi journey

Main Entrance Reception Facilities

• We do not have strict check in / opening times we work with our guests for their convenience
• There is one 4” (100 mm) step into the main entrance
• Our dining room lounge can be used as a seating area for guests and their visitors, this room is accessible at all times for our guests
• The breakfast / lounge area is an open area but is on two levels divided by two 5” (125mm) steps
• We have a unisex toilet on the ground floor which guests and guests visitors can use on request (All rooms are en-suite)
• We have no public telephone but we allow guests use of a telephone free of charge for any reasonable calls
• All public areas are well lit

Accommodation

• Due to the age and nature of the property the stairways are quite steep and narrow 700mm, assistance is offered to guests
• Again due to the nature of the property for safety  fire doors with door closers are fitted through out
• On the first floor we have a double room; on the second floor we have a twin room and a family room. The family room sleeps up to three adults and one small child all rooms are en-suite. The blue room has a shower, the Green room a bath with shower over and the yellow room has a bath with a hair washing facility
• There are TV’s and DVD players in all bedrooms
• The Dining room and lounge can be used by guests at all times, cutlery and crockery is available for guests use
• Guests have keys to all doors and there are no restriction for times of entry/exit
• All rooms have fully stocked courtesy trays

• We are a 5 minute walk from the town centre amenities, shops, restaurants (all types of cuisine) post office, tourist information, Ashby Castle
• We have free Wi-Fi
• We offer free loan of DVD’s
